ANNOUNCER'S GUILD
The Announcer’s Guild ministry is responsible for presenting weekly announcements to the congregation.
ARMOURBEARER MINISTRY
This ministry is committed to serving the man and woman of God with a spirit of excellence. This ministry is a very strong support both physically and spiritually to our 1st Family. This is an appointed position by our Senior Pastor.
BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
The Bereavement ministry’s focus is to assist those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.

DEACON MINISTRY
The Deacon Ministry assists the Pastor, congregation and community. This position is appointed by our Senior Pastor.

The Deaconess Ministry assists the Pastor, congregation and community. This position is appointed by our Senior Pastor
EVANGELISM MINISTRY
The Evangelism Ministry is an outreach ministry going out into surrounding communities witnessing to men, women, boys and girls about the true love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by providing practical training to equip the Saints to be an effective witness of the Gospel.
GREETERS MINISTRY
The Greeters Ministry is responsible for welcoming members and visitors as they enter the sanctuary for worship.
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
The Hospitality Ministry is responsible for creating an atmosphere of serenity as they accommodate the needs of our special guest.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is responsible for under girding the church, pastor and membership in prayer. This ministry is responsible for setting the atmosphere of worship prior to Sunday Service and any ministry event.
MEDIA/PRESENTATION MINISTRY
The Media Ministry is responsible for making sure that ministry events are communicated to the public via radio, television, internet, billboard, newspaper, etc. The Media Ministry develops marketing concepts to insure that ministry reaches the masses.
MEN'S MINISTRY
The Men’s Ministry caters to all men and young men of the Beacon Light Church Family.
MINISTERIAL ALLIANCE
The Ministerial Alliance is a major spiritual support to the Pastor. This alliance is structured so that those persons acknowledging their call to 5-fold ministry is properly trained and equipped to minister the Gospel effectively in any given setting (Sunday Service, Conference, and Bible Study etc.)
MUSIC MINISTRY
The Music Ministry consists of members of all ages used by God to minister His message through song.
NEW MEMBERS MINISTRY
The New Member’s Ministry is responsible for making sure that all members who have joined Beacon Light are well orientated through the New Members Orientation and Discipleship Training classes. The New Members Ministry is a 3-fold ministry which consists of:

NURSES GUILD MINISTRY
The Nurses Guild ministry is responsible for assisting the Pastor and all clergy by making sure they are adequately served. This position is appointed by our Senior Pastor.
PROTOCOL MINISTRY
The Protocol Ministry is responsible for overseeing/maintaining the order and structure of each Worship Service and all ministry events.
USHERS MINISTRY
The Ushers ministry greets and seats our members and visitors upon entering the sanctuary.
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
The Transportation ministry provides transportation to members who desire to attend church services and bible study.
YOUTH MINISTRY
The Youth Ministry meets the spiritual needs of our young people ages 5-18.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The Womens Ministry caters to all women, young and old, of the Beacon Light church family and the community.
WORSHIP CHILD CARE MINISTRY
The Worship Child Care Ministry caters to youth ages 1-5 years old, meeting their spiritual needs on their level. This ministry provides a nurturing and loving environment that is conducive for learning.

The Upthegrove Music School has enabled hundreds of students of all ages to develop their musical skills in a fun, relaxed environment at home. Our approach is not “one size fits all.” Rather than relying on finger exercises or reading music, we tailor each lesson to the abilities and interests of the student, explaining music concepts in a clear, easily understood manner and encouraging exploration and improvisation. Whether your interest is in classical, blues, rock, folk, or pop music, you get to decide what you want to play.
Practice happens as a rehearsal in every session, so progress is amazing!
Want to learn your favorite song? Our patient, knowledgeable teachers, will explain how it is put together and help you learn how to play it…no weeks of practicing scales before you’re able to play anything. We believe that having fun is the most effective motivator for making progress in your musical journey.
